The first chapter of Lego City: Corruption, is as follows:

CC-007 at the CCP wrote:
Harry settled into his white lego city police cruiser, and turned out of the police station parking lot onto East 40 street. He thought about his career as the cheif of police and how long and properous it had been. He had been the top gun in the department for over 20 years now, and was thinking about retiring.

This cruise Harry was on right now was to be around the entire city. He wished to look at all of the good he had done for the citizens of Legoland's Capital. He proceeded down East 40th gazing at the civilians in overalls or at the fine buildings. East 40th was the main drag of Lego City, and it showed. Construction crews were always fixing buildings and the sidewalks, but the street gleaned in economic prosperity.

Harry decided to take a break from the main stream of the city and check out other parts of 'his town'. He turned left off of East 40 street onto an untitled street. In the place of the street's name was a sign reading 'one way'. The atmosphere of this street was just different from the feel of East 40th. It didn't feel like the bright, shiny Lego City at all.

A dog, barking, ran across the road in front of Harry's cruiser, and he slammed on the brakes. The dog's coat should have been glossy brown, but was streaked with red and green, like graffiti on the walls of the buildings on this street.

Harry took advantage of the time stopped, and glanced in his rear view mirror. Two dark black motorcycles with black clad riders were racing towards him. This was a shock to the Chief of Police. He slammed the gas petal into the floor and the white cruiser accelerated through the narrow street.

A dull thud thud thud thud thud sounded in the air, and Harry glanced in his mirror again. Not only were the two motorcycles still closing on him, there was a helicopter flying above the building line! Harry flicked on his lights and sirens and tried to speed away from the three pursuing vehichles.

As Harry attempted to evade his pursuers, a rat-a-tat-tat flickered through the dry air, and he felt his cruiser shuddering as multiple objects impacted it's white surface. He was being fired upon.

Harry's only hope of survival was to call in with his radio. He grasped the black box with one hand and shouted, "This is Harry! I'm on an unknown street and being pursued by motorcycles and a helicopter!"

The radio flew from Harry's hand as his cruiser hit a bump in the road and spun out of control. He desperately tryed to save himself and his vehichle and pawed at the steering wheel, but this only complicated the situation. His cruiser slammed into a building and glass shattered from both the car's and the building's windows. The cruiser stopped moving and Harry guessed that it was probably totalled.

The helicopter buzzed away, but the two motorcycles that had been pursuing Harry skidded to a halt near the crash scene, and their riders hopped off and moved towards him. Harry pulled out his pistol from his holster and fired through the broken windows of his patrol car, but the shots missed his assailants. One of the two men produced a similar gun and both kept approaching.

A black van raced down the street and stopped near the crash. The back doors of the van opened, and Harry was distraced long enough that he did not notice the taser pressed against his arm until he was out. The men helped Harry into the back of the van, which sped away...
